Bike Upgrade:

I part exchanged my Hi Mod Synapse Ultegra (56cm) for a Specialized Tarmac SL4 Di2 (54cm) and put some nice new Zipp 404s on the new stead – simply fantastic ride!

I think on reflection the C’dale was TOO BIG for me and not as comfortable as my Shiv. The Tarmac is a really comfy ride, even will the original and thin saddle.

The Di2 is awesome and beyond my expectations.

The 404 FCs look nice and ride really well. Way better than the extremely flex DT Swiss OEM Axis wheels on the Tarmac that were/are ‘shite’ !

I am pleased with the change and looking forward to some dry and bright days when together we can do combat on the roads together. Spending most of my time on the Elite Muin whilst its frosty or mega wet outside at the moment
